Provide your details and emergency contact at registration; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
Eligibility
Participant eligibility, age requirements, and distance categories.
Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for their chosen distance category. The Carmelian 1st Virtual Fun Run is open to students and participants aged 13 years and above. The available distance categories are:
- 5K – Participants aged 13 years and above
- 10K – Participants aged 13 years and above
- 20K – Participants aged 13 years and above
- 40K – Participants aged 13 years and above
- 100K – Participants aged 13 years and above
The 5K, 10K, 20K, 40K, and 100K categories represent accumulated distance goals and are not required to be completed in a single run. Participants may complete multiple runs anytime and anywhere during the official challenge period of August 30, 2026 to October 8, 2026 (40 days). All completed runs will be combined to determine the participant's total accumulated distance.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of safely participating in the event. Participants are encouraged to consider their individual health and fitness level and to consult a physician when necessary before engaging in physical activity.
For participants below 18 years of age, registration and participation must be done with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian may be required to accomplish or sign the necessary consent and waiver forms. The organizer reserves the right to require appropriate parental or guardian consent and supporting documentation for participants who are minors.
Tracking your runs & proof
Use any GPS app or device — Strava, Huawei Health, Nike Run Club, Garmin Connect, Apple Health — or a treadmill that shows your distance. Your record must clearly show the distance, date and activity details. Upload a GPX file or a screenshot; organizers may verify submissions and reject entries that are incomplete, altered, duplicated or invalid.

Participant safety and hydration
Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being while completing their virtual run activities. Since the event may be completed anytime and anywhere during the official challenge period, participants should choose a safe and appropriate location for their activities. Participants are encouraged to stay properly hydrated before, during, and after their runs, especially when exercising in hot or humid weather. Participants should also take appropriate rest periods and avoid running when weather or environmental conditions make it unsafe to do so. Participants should follow applicable traffic and pedestrian safety rules when running outdoors and should choose safe routes or locations appropriate to their individual fitness level.
Medical and health safety
There will be no on-site medical personnel, medical stations, or event-provided emergency assistance for individual virtual run activities. Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate in the event and should consider their individual health and fitness condition before engaging in physical activity.
Participants are encouraged to consult their physician or healthcare provider when necessary, particularly if they have an existing medical condition or have concerns regarding their ability to participate in physical activity.
In case of an emergency or if a participant experiences symptoms such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, or other concerning symptoms, they should stop exercising immediately and seek appropriate medical assistance or contact their local emergency services.
